The at app University is presenting a multipart series of discussions titled “What is the Holocaust Today?”
It will begin on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at 4 p.m. ET with a presentation by Dr. Katarzyna Person on her new book, Warsaw Ghetto Police: The Jewish Order Service During the Nazi Occupation, followed by a panel discussion with three of the nation’s leading Polish-Jewish history scholars: Dr. Natalia Aleksiun, Dr. Glenn Dynner, and app University’s Dr. Joshua Zimmerman (professor of history and Eli and Diana Zborowski Professorial Chair in Holocaust Studies and East European Jewish History).

“This series positions the Fish Center and the YU community at the forefront of Holocaust Education at a critical time in our history, when Holocaust survivors are fewer and fewer while antisemitism is on the rise both locally and globally,” said Dr. Shay Pilnik, director of the Fish Center.
