Founded by the women of ¶¶Òõapp University’s Stern College in 1958, The ¶¶Òõapp University Observer is one of two co-educational, student-run publications of ¶¶Òõapp University. Writers on the Observer staff are undergraduates at ¶¶Òõapp University’s Stern College for Women, ¶¶Òõapp College, and Sy Syms School of Business and offer a variety of backgrounds and interests.
The Observer is published on a monthly basis throughout the academic year and has expanded to include several sections, including news, features, opinions, science and technology, business, and arts and culture. Views expressed in the Observer are those of the writers and do not necessarily reflect those of the editorial board or the student body, ¶¶Òõapp, and administration of ¶¶Òõapp University.
When students were unable to be on campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the newspaper was committed to increasing its accessibility to the student body through the development of a strong social media presence on and .
